First image is of main truss; second of bottom laterals. Note: Numbers 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26 in the two illustrations below correspond; no others do. All bottom laterals are built up of 2Ls 6 x 6 x 3/8. Members 7-30, 9-31, 87-35, 88-36, 17-39, 25-41, 53-70, 54-72, 58-89, 60-90, 63-80 and 65-84 are crossframes with tops and bottoms, each of which is 1L 4 x 4 x 3/8, and an "x" of which each piece is 1L 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 3/8. Northern Endposts and Portal

Right image is of the northern endposts and portal, from the main trunnion at the bottom to the counterweight trunnion at the top. All diagonals are built up of 4 angles 6 x 4 x 7/8. Struts 2-37 and 3-38 are built up of 2 webs 24 x 5/8 and 4 angles 6 x 6 x 1/2. Posts 10-11 and 31-32 are built up of 8 angles 6 x 6 x 1/2, 2 plates 36 x 1/2, 2 plates 36 x 7/16 and one plate 37 x 3/4; posts 11-12 and 32-33 are probably identical. Note: Numbers 17, 18 and 27 correspond between the two images; no others do. Images are not to scale with each other.


Kingpost and Counterweight Truss

Right image is of the kingpost and the center of the counterweight truss, from the bottom chord to the top of the counterweight truss. All diagonals and struts 4-19 and 3-31 are built up of 4 angles 6 x 4 x 7/16. Strut 2-29 is built up of 2 webs 24 x 5/8 and 4 angles 6 x 6 x 1/2. Posts 11-12 and 24-25 are built up of 8 angles 6 x 6 x 9/16, 2 plates 36 x 1/2, 2 plates 37 x 7/16 and one plate 37 x 3/4; posts 10-22 and 24-27 are probably identical. Note: Numbers 19, 22, 27 and 30 correspond between the two images; no others do. In the illustration on the right, black lines indicate members of the counterweight tower; red indicates the counterweight truss. Images are not to scale with each other.
