In my world there is no sunny day
No smiling parents watching children at play
You fight for your life in this world of mine
No banquets. Famine is no place to dine
In my world there was never a garden
only a desert, bones by the sun hardened
You gasp for your breath in this world of mine
Hands used to strangle, no touch that is kind
In my world there is no one who loves
The give and take ends with bloody gloves
You have to admit they are one in the same
my world and yours, it keeps us insane by Deranger
If you enjoy the poetry you can continue to follow the path,
Tavern Tale being the next step, or you can go to an index of the
